La Basura (The Trash Can)

 

La Basura is the title affectionately endowed upon the 115 car, driven by I.E. teacher Chris McGowen. Many of the youngsters scoff at this bulky, noisy machine, and yet the experience of McGowen shines through as he continues to demonstrate his racing skills.

Other drivers have commented on the intimidation factor that La Basura stirs up. They have commented that it is unnerving to race with a car that you can hear before it even comes into view. McGowen is fine with this, and takes pride in his loud, confusing machine.
